The Vango Faros II Air Low offers a spacious drive away design air awning, which has a 70 denier fabric, for a lower weight for easier transporting. Ideal for those wanting to use it throughout the warmer summer months, and not wanting the weight of a heavier fabric such as the Kela.

The Vango Faros II Air Low is the perfect awning for enhancing the living space of your campervan, without the hassle of erecting a poled version. Very quick to pitch, and easy to attach to your van, ensuring that there’s a solid secure fit to the side of the van. The new Sentinel Active fabric is a 70-denier fabric, designed to keep the overall weight down at 11.9kg. The Low designs are designed to fit onto vans with a height of between 180-210cm tall and comes with a 6mm pre-attached kador rail.

| Fabric Denier | 70 Denier (Polyester) DetailsDenier – a measurement used to determine the thickness of the tent flysheet. It relates to the fibre thickness, or thread counts used. The thicker the fabric, generally the stronger, and more durable the fabric will be. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton – a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. | Hydrostatic Head (mm) | 3000 DetailsHydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is.
